Getting it Together: A Whole-School Approach to Drug Education

Getting it Together: A Whole-School Approach to Drug Education is a practical and user-friendly resource which offers tools to help schools plan and implement whole-school drug education strategies.

Getting it Together is based on best practice research – the Principles for School Drug Education and the Health Promoting Schools Framework. It aims to assist school communities to implement effective school drug education.

Getting it Together is innovative and practical in its approach to drug education and includes a focus on the development of School Drug Education Guidelines as well as procedures for managing drug use incidents and providing support interventions in the school context.

The resource includes planning templates, a CD-ROM and is supported by professional learning workshops.
