Resilient Kids: Social and Emotional Learning

Who: School-based staff working with Kindergarten to Year 7 students
What: Are you interested in building the resilience and social emotional learning skills of your students? What is the link between resilience and drug education?

This workshop explores the key protective factors and the social and emotional competencies students require to become resilient. It highlights the importance of promoting a positive class and school culture. A range of curriculum resources including The Big Move and One and All are unpacked and participants will be given strategies and activities that can be transferred into the classroom the next day. 

 

When: 8.15am—3.00pm

A certificate of attendance will be provided on completion of the professional learning workshop.

All associated costs including teacher relief are covered by SDERA. Workshops are scheduled at various times throughout the year.
