Challenges and Choices: Resilience, Drug and Road Safety Education

Do children need exposure to resilience, drug and road safety education? Are you looking for some new ideas for teaching health education across other learning areas? This workshop will provide participants with an understanding of effective resilience, drug and road safety education, three contexts identified in the K-10 Health and Physical Education Syllabus. A range of activities and teaching and learning strategies from the Challenges and Choices resources, which can easily be transferred into the classroom, will be modelled throughout the workshop. |
| When: | 8.15am—3.00pm |
| Participants are requested to bring the Challenges and Choices teacher resource for their students’ phase of schooling.

| A certificate of attendance will be provided on completion of the professional development workshop. |
