BYFORD PRIMARY SCHOOL - 5078 (JUNE 2019)

The following will define the local-intake area of this school from 2020:
From the junction of Thomas Road and the South Western Highway, north along the South Western Highway (east side included) to the local government boundary between the City of Armadale and the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale, generally east and south along this local government boundary to Wungong Reservoir, southeast along Wungong Reservoir to 28 Mile Road, east along 28 Mile Road (both sides included) to Albany Highway, southeast along Albany Highway (both sides included) to Chandler Road, west along Chandler Road (both sides included) to Coronation Road, west along Coronation Road (both sides included) to Nettleton Road, south along Nettleton Road (both sides included) to Manjedal Brook, west along Manjedal Brook to the South Western Highway and north along South Western Highway (east side included) to Thomas Road.

The following will define an optional area between Byford Primary School and Marri Grove Primary School from 2020:
From the junction of Eleventh Road and the South Western Highway, south along the South Western Highway (west side included) to Abernethy Road, west along Abernethy (north side included) to the railway line, north along the railway line to Eleventh Road and east along Eleventh Road (south side included) to the South Western Highway.

The following will define an optional area between Byford Primary School and Byford South East Primary School (planning name) from 2020:
From the junction of Abernethy Road and South Western Highway, south along the South Western Highway (west side included) to Norman Road, south west along Norman Road (north side included) to the railway line, generally north along the railway line to Abernethy Road and east along Abernethy Road (south side included) to the South Western Highway.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
