The following defines the local-intake area of this school:

From the intersection of Champion Drive and Tonkin Highway, north east along Tonkin Highway (south east side included) to the intersection with Corfield Street, south east along Corfield Street (south side included) to the junction with Lake Road, north east along the extension of Lake Road (south east side included) to the Canning River, north along the Canning River to the local government boundary between the City of Armadale and City of Gosnells, generally east along this boundary to Canning Mills Road, south along Canning Mills Road (west side included) to the locality boundary between Kelmscott and Roleystone (at Bullockbush Road), east, south east, south, then generally south west, then north west along this locality boundary to the junction of Salter Road and Patterson Road, west along Salter Road (both sides included) and north along existing and proposed sections of Salter Road to Wahroonga Road, west along Wahroonga Road (both sides included) and its western extension to Albany Highway, south along Albany Highway (west side included) to Galliers Avenue, west along Galliers Avenue (both sides included) and its extension to Railway Avenue, north along Railway Avenue (both sides included) to Champion Drive, north west along Champion Drive (north east side included) to the intersection with Tonkin Highway.

The following defines the boundary of an optional area between Southern River College and Kelmscott Senior High Schools:

From the junction of Mills Road East and Tonkin Highway, south along Tonkin Highway (east side included) to the bridge over the Canning River, south along the Canning River to the local government boundary between the City of Armadale and the City of Gosnells, east, south and east along the local government boundary to the western boundary of the Black Cockatoo Preservation Society property (previously the Cohuno Wildlife Sanctuary), north along the western boundary of the Preservation Society and continuing north to a point east of the junction of Mills Road East and Pages Way, west from this point to the junction of Mills Road East and Pages Way(both sides included) and in a generally westerly direction along Mills Road East (both sides included) to the junction with Tonkin Highway.

The following defines an optional area for lower secondary students between Kelmscott Senior High School and Roleystone District High School:

From the junction of Chevin Road and Canning Mills Road, east along Chevin Road (south side only) to a point between Coventry Road and Hill Road due north of the junction of Brookton Highway and Stocker Road, south from this point to the intersection with Stony Brook and the locality boundary between Roleystone and Kelmscott, north west then west along this locality boundary to Canning Mills Road, north east along Canning Mills Road (east side included) to Chevin Road.

The following defines an optional area between Cecil Andrews and Kelmscott Senior High Schools:

From the intersection of Lake Road and Champion Drive, south west along Lake Road (west side included) to Bay Court, north west along Bay Court (both sides included) and its extension to the Southern River, north along the Southern River to Champion Drive, and south east along Champion Drive (west side included) to Lake Road.

The following defines an optional area between Lesmurdie and Kelmscott Senior High Schools:

Students in Years 11 and 12 residing in the localities of Canning Mills (south of Monday Brook), Karragullen, Martin (east of a north-south line on the western boundary of the Black Cockatoo Preservation Society property (previously the Cohunu Wildlife Sanctuary), or Roleystone, have the option of attending either Kelmscott Senior High School or Lesmurdie Senior High School.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
