From the intersection of Great Eastern Highway and the railway line, south and south east along the railway line to Welshpool Road, west along Welshpool Road (north side included) to Albany Highway, south along Albany Highway (south west side included) to Leach Highway, south west along Leach Highway (north west side included) to Manning Road, west along Manning Road (north side included) to a point due south of the southern extension of Hill View Terrace, north along this extension and Hill View Terrace (east side included) to Walpole Street, north east along Walpole Street (south east side included) to Holder Street, west along Holder Street (north side included) to Maquis Street, south west along Marquis Street (north west side included) to Hayman Road, generally north west along Hayman Road (north east side included) to Douglas Avenue, north west along Douglas Avenue (north east side included) and its north west extension to the Swan River foreshore, east and north along the Swan River foreshore to the Goongoonup Bridge, east and south along the railway line to Great Eastern Highway.
The following defines an optional area between Como Secondary College and Kent Street Senior High School:
From the junction of Douglas Avenue and South Terrace, north west along Douglas Avenue (south west side included) and its north westerly extension to the Swan River foreshore, north west and south along the Swan River foreshore to a point on the westerly extension of South Terrace, east along this extension and east along South Terrace (north side included) to Douglas Avenue.
The following defines an optional area between Cannington Community College and Kent Street Senior High School:
From the intersection of Albany Highway and Leach Highway, north east along Leach Highway (north west side included) to the railway line, north west along the railway line to Welshpool Road, west along Welshpool Road (south side included) to Albany Highway, and south east along Albany Highway (north east side included) to Leach Highway.
The following defines an optional area between Belmont City College and Kent Street Senior High School:
From the junction of the overpass of Victoria Park Drive and the Graham Farmer Freeway, south east along the Graham Farmer Freeway (south west side included) to Orrong Road, continuing south east along Orrong Road (south west side included) to Kewdale Road, south along Kewdale Road (west side included) to Welshpool Road, west along Welshpool Road (north side included) to the railway line, north west along the railway line to Victoria Park Drive, and north east along Victoria Park Drive (south east side included) to the Graham Farmer Freeway.

The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette. Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.
