The future of young people depends very much on the simple act of going to school. It is necessary and it is the law. Schools cannot do this alone. Schools, parents, businesses, support agencies and communities must work together – it is a shared responsibility and mutual obligation. Better attendance: Brighter futures is a nine point plan to address the issue of poor school attendance.
