Full time work

If you want to get a full-time job (instead of going to school, doing a training course or starting an apprenticeship or traineeship) it must first be approved.

In general you can only take a full-time job if it has long term prospects. If you want to work on your family's farm or in the family business this can also be OK as long as it is approved by a Manager Participation.

If you choose full-time employment your parent/carer will need to complete a form and send direct to:

Participation Unit
Department of Education and Training
151 Royal Street
EAST PERTH WA 6004

For more information, contact the Manager Participation at your district education office.
