Full Circle Feedback

Introduction

The Leadership Centre, in collaboration with Full Circle Feedback (FCF), has customised a 360-degree feedback tool to provide school leaders with the opportunity to seek feedback about their work performance from a range of different sources. The FCF survey has been designed specifically to align with the Leadership Framework, to further enhance the self reflection process and to support professional learning.

What is Full Circle Feedback (FCF)?

  • FCF is a web-enabled survey process that gathers structured feedback about your work performance from people around you, from your superordinate, your colleagues, support staff and your subordinates.
  • FCF will help to identify your strengths as well as any development opportunities.
  • People you nominate will be asked to rate your performance in a survey questionnaire on the web.
  • You will get a report showing feedback on your performance against the Leadership Framework characteristics and competencies.
  • We recommend first time participants also take up the option of a one-on-one or group feedback session with a trained FCF consultant.

  • FCF is easy for participants to complete, being web-based.
  • Comprehensive graphical reports are generated which provide a superior, efficient and streamlined 360 feedback process.
  • You have the option of a one-on-one feedback session with a trained consultant who will help you go through your report, understand your feedback and develop an action plan.
  • The Leadership Centre has negotiated a competitive rate for the process.

Who should I nominate as raters?

To maximise the value of the feedback, you should choose people to rate you whose opinion you respect. You should consider whether your raters:

  • Have regular contact with you in the workplace;
  • Understand your role and its expected outcomes;
  • Are willing to participate in the process and meet the deadlines.

Who has access to the report?

Easy answer! - Only you or people you give the report to. Full Circle Feedback has undertaken to restrict the provision of your report and performance ratings to you AND NO ONE ELSE.

The only other person who may see the report is the FCF consultant if you nominate one to help you go through the report. The Leadership Centre has access to collective summary reports showing the average ratings of all participants so that it can target its professional learning program. The reports provided by Full Circle Feedback to the Leadership Centre are group reports and cannot be used to identify individuals or the performance of individuals.

Some school leaders have undertaken Full Circle feedback as part of a performance management process. Even where this is the case, the report resulting from this process will only be sent to you, and it is entirely up to you if you include the report in any other process.
