Hospital School Services (HSS) provides educational support for students whose physical or mental health currently prevents them from successfully participating in another educational system.

HSS provides an educational service to referred students from kindergarten through to Year 12 who are:
HSS also facilitates some educational programs for referred post school aged students requiring rehabilitation or ongoing
support.
HSS is currently operating over 30 programs that are based across various metropolitan health settings. The programs aim to
meet the individual needs of students facing serious health challenges.
Information, Communication and Technology is a key tool in helping our students maintain connections with their enrolled schools
which is integral to their academic, social and emotional development.
Education support is provided through hospital based programs, a variety of teaching and liaison programs as well as outreach
services providing liaison services to schools, District Offices and other agencies. These programs include:
