The Bluearth Institute is a non-profit, charitable organisation. It was established specifically to improve health and prevent diseases caused by sedentary living.

Overview

Bluearth Discovery is a primary school intervention program. It is designed to facilitate the development of mind, body and spirit through physical activity.

The Bluearth discovery program and the Bluearth Professional Learning program are currently being made available to select schools in the metropolitan area to complement their existing physical education programs and strategies as part of a government funding commitment.

One of the aims of Bluearth is to assist schools to be self sustaining in the delivery of the program. Teachers that have completed their training in the Bluearth Professsional Learning program, are able to run the program themselves and support other staff at their school to also become involved in the program.
