How do I access or provide support?

Addressing the needs of students with attentional difficulties is a shared responsibility that requires collaborative and co-ordinated services and support across the home, school and community setting.

The following provisions support students with attention and learning needs

Home-school Partnership

Parents/Guardians, Support Staff and Teachers work together collaboratively  to support students with attentional difficulties in various ways.

Assistance available at the school for the teacher

Assistance is available to teachers in the school environment through the Administrative staff and Learning Support Coordinators.

Accessing information from other agencies/professionals

Teachers may choose to access the support of other professional bodies in both the public and private sectors, including Catholic Education and Independent Schools.
