The Community Relations Area works with districts, schools and individuals in the community to develop partnerships and strengthen school, community and home links to improve the educational opportunities, participation, learning and personal development of students. organisations.
Engaging the community
The Community Engagement Program assists and supports districts and schools in their planning and implementation of programs which work to build partnerships with the local community and businesses and encourage parents to take an active role in discussing their children's learning and be actively involved in school planning and policy development.
Scholarships
The Scholarships program assists government and non-government organisations in the selection of candidates for a broad range of community based scholarships.
Supporting Non-government Organisations
The Community Relations program works in partnership with a number of local community non-government organisations to provide a range of services to students in state schools.
