Schools Plus

Schools Plus makes practical links between teaching and learning adjustments, services and support, professional learning and supplementary resourcing for schools.

Schools Plus provides supplementary resources to WA public schools that have eligible students. These students may require significant and often ongoing teaching and learning adjustments to ensure that educational outcomes are achieved.

Schools Plus enables schools to gather evidence of educational need, determine the level of adjustments required and decide if a request for additional assistance is appropriate.

Schools Plus provides a concise way to represent educational need. This assists schools to plan, implement and review appropriate educational programs. These may include:

  • teaching and learning adjustments.
  • appropriate services and supports.
  • professional learning needs.
  • the informed use of resources.
  • informed assessment and reporting practices.

The Schools Plus website provides detailed information on the services available to schools and how they can access the supplementary resources provided by Schools Plus.
