Guidelines for Implementing Documented Plans in Public Schools

Documented Plans is an umbrella term for student plans that address individual needs, such as individual education plans (IEPs) and individual behaviour management plans (IBMPs). Guidelines for Implementing Documented Plans in Public Schools has been developed to inform teachers, administrators, and support staff on who, what, when, and how to plan for individuals or small groups.

Guidelines for Implementing Documented Plans in Public Schools provides information on effective planning for individuals or small groups across all DET settings. Documented Plans is the umbrella term for plans that address individual student need such as:

  • Individual of Group Education Plan (IEP or GEP)
  • Risk Management Plan (RMP)
  • Individual Behaviour Management Plan (IBMP)
  • Individual Attendance Plan (IAP)
  • Individual Transition Plan (ITP)

A range of sample plans and templates are included.
