Eneabba Primary School closed on Thursday (November 27)

Time of issue: 7:00 pm

The Department of Education advises that Eneabba Primary Scbool in the Mid-West region will be closed tomorrow (Thursday, November 27) due to the bushfire in the area today.

All students are now in the care of their families.

Staff members were accommodated at the Leeman Holiday Units overnight. 

Parents can call the Mid-West Regional Education Office on 9956 1600 with any additional queries. Media queries must go to 9264 5821.

Parents and members of the public are advised to continue to monitor the Department of Fire and Emergency Services website at www.dfes.wa.gov.au, local ABC radio and the Department of Education website for the latest information.

Note: An update will be issued when schooling arrangements for the above public school change.

Gingin District High School, Lancelin Primary School taking action due to bushfires

The Department of Education advises that all students from Gingin District High School and Lancelin Primary School have been collected and are now in the care of their families.

Parents and other members of the public should continue to monitor the Department of Fire and Emergency Services website www.dfes.wa.gov.au, ABC radio and the Department of Education’s emergency website www.education.wa.edu.au/emergency.


Parents can call the North Metropolitan Education Regional Office on 9285 3600 for any additional queries.
