The Country Interm swimming program
is locally managed and operated by the nominated Organising
Principal. The Organising Principal organises the program
(including the appointment of staff) and manages the classes
in accordance with the Department’s Country
Interm Swimming Organisational and Administrative Guidelines
[PDF]. It is a requirement that the Country
Organising Principals’ Checklist [PDF] is completed
and received at the Interm swimming office in the week prior
to the commencement of lessons.
To assist the instructor-in-charge in developing a management plan for Interm swimming lessons and the principal who is required to approve that plan, the Interm swimming office has identified in the Interm Swimming Excursions Checklist [PDF] the areas in which it may provide specialist assistance. To assist schools in complying with the Department’s Excursions Policy (search for 'Excursions' within the Departments Regulatory Framework) the Interm Swimming Country Checklist [PDF] has also been developed.
