Primary Science Project

Project Overview

The Primary Science Project has started in 2005 with 22 primary schools across the state.

This project uses school expertise to improve student achievement in Science. A Science Specialist Teacher from each school receives extensive professional development to enable them to work shoulder-to-shoulder with their colleagues. The Specialist Teacher supports teachers in their school to improve the science learning outcomes of their students.

The focus for 2005 is on teachers with classes in years 4 to 7.
