General Information

MSE Mathematics School Assessment Materials are available as follows:

  • Year 3: Space, Measurement, Chance and Data, Number and Working Mathematically
  • Year 5: Space, Measurement, Chance and Data and Number
  • Year 7: Space, Measurement, Chance and Data, Number and Working Mathematically
  • Year 10: Space, Measurement, Chance and Data, Number, Albegra and Working Mathematically

Each assessment task will require approximately 10-15 minutes in addition to the actual testing time for instructions and distribution and collection of materials. Some schools may wish to complete two assessments in a single session. In this case, 10-15 minutes will still be sufficient for administration.

Before conducting assessments, teachers should leave themselves enough time to read through the teachers manual to become familiar with the standardized administration procedures and assessment requirements.
