Living Languages (1996)This video is designed to provide information to schools and communities interested in establishing an Aboriginal language program and to provide additional information to programs currently operating in Western Australian schools. Teachers demonstrate activities based teaching and learning strategies in a range of Aboriginal language classes and programs.

Framework for Teaching Aboriginal Languages in Primary Schools (1993)
Developed as a generic resource for the teaching of all Aboriginal languages, the framework is designed to be used in primary schools with a significant proportion of aboriginal students from a variety of language backgrounds. It is based on the Australian Language Levels (ALL) Guidelines and contains six modules:
- Learning to talk
- Understanding a story
- Extanding the language
- Learning about languages
- Learning through local themes
- Learning about people and places

Aboriginal Languages Resources File (1996)
Over 300 blackline master pictures are included in the file which is designed to complement the Framework for Teaching Aboriginal Languages in Primary Schools. The pictures may be photocopied to suit the requirements of Aboriginal language teams implementing programs in schools or as a general resource for aboriginal Studies programs.
These syllabus documents are intended to support learning and teaching plans based on the needs of students to achieve the LOTE outcomes as described in the Curriculum Framework.
