The main purpose of the Library and Information Service is to support the learning, professional development and research needs of all departmental staff.
LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP is your gateway to a wide range of materials carefully selected to provide you with access to up-to-date, relevant and authoritative research and information on all aspects of education and training. The Library provides print, electronic and research resources to Department staff to support and to assist in the creation and provision of a comprehensive, inclusive and innovative education and training service to Western Australia.
Department staff are encouraged to visit the Library and Information Service Intranet for full access to Library resources and services, including electronic resources, journal table of contents and the latest Education and Training related research and news. Check out the Library Blog for the latest latest news, tips, research and links.
The Library is open to the public for
research and reference, however membership, borrowing and access to
electronic resources is only
available to current staff. Library staff can also only undertake
work related research and follow up on queries on behalf of current staff.
