Acceptable Graphics Calculators for Curriculum Council Subjects

This table indicates with an icon, which of the range of currently available and acceptable graphics calculators includes the capabilities as described in the Glossary.

The table is presented in alphabetical order, and should not be interpreted as implying an order of preference. It should be noted that the precise nature of most of the capabilities varies a little from machine to machine, and that the specifications for calculators can change without notice.

Calculators typically include capabilities other than those described in the table.

The table is not intended to be exhaustive, but shows most of the graphics calculators available. The Curriculum Council will periodically update this table in the Curriculum Council Circular to accommodate change.

Please note that the Casio CFX 9850G and CFX 9850G Plus, Sharp EL 9400 and EL 9600, and the TI-86 have been added to the list of acceptable calculators.
