The Participation team supports the implementation of the Raised School Leaving Age (RSLA) Legislation in the Warren Blackwood Education District. This involves supporting young people in the 16th and 17th year, who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging, into education, training and employment pathways. The team consist of a full time Manager Participation and 3 full time Participation Coordinators.

The Manager Participation is responsible for the development, implementation and operational management of a range of district strategies and plans supporting the RSLA. They are also the delegated authority of the Minister in determining and approving Notices of Arrangement. The Manager Participation works across the disthict and is based in the Busselton office.

The Participation Coordinators are responsible for supporting young people, in their 16th or 17th year, who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging, to develop Individual Pathway Plans, and to assist re-engagement into education, training or employment options. Participation Coordinators are based in Manjimup, Busselton and Margaret River.
