The Director of Schools provide strategic and education leadership to schools within the district. This includes line and performance management of principals and quality assurance review of schools. Coordination of resources, use of assets and service delivery at district level are key parts of this role. The Director of Schools, ensure that in the District the delivery of education is coordinated so as to meet policy requirements and to achieve specified educational outcomes.
Operations Managers The Managers, District Operations provide operational management for the day to day functions of the district office. A key responsibility is to provide professional, administrative and operational support to the Director of Schools. This position also provides leadership to work teams based in the district office. The Managers District Operations are also responsible for the customer service focus of the district office. This includes the handling of inquiries, concerns and complaints relating to district office, schools and DET policies and procedures. Concerns and Complaints
