- Monitor and review strategic EVE initiatives
- Big Picture perspective (District Focus) not school based
- Manage and coordinate finance
- Marketing — support / initiatives/ promotion/ PR strategy, identification of good practice
- Provide support for district based initiatives
- Provide feedback for relevant bodies
- Actively form two-way partnerships with Business and Industry for dissemination of information
- Develop district guidelines and plan in accordancewith international, national and state polices and trends
- Understanding of legislative requirements
- Gain PD in relevant areas
- Foster and develop on-job training
- Research industry needs and opportunities for schools

- Supporting through change
- Identify opportunities to form partnerships
- Link from school to industry and vice versa
- Draft policy recommendations to link CO/national/district/state

- Induction of administration, teaching staff, parent and industry personnel
- Promotion and marketing of VET
- Research, coordinate, deliver and disseminate information on PD for administration, teaching staff in EVE and curriculum
- Dissemination of current information / updates
- Record keeping
- Industry Liaison work
- Surveys / Research / Trends
- Gather and distribute up to date profile of industry area requirements
- Ensure actions are undertaken from various EVE committees and working parties
