Curriculum Improvement Program Team
The team comprises the Curriculum Improvement Manager, District Curriculum
Consultants, Service Area Curriculum Consultants, (First Steps Literacy and
Numeracy) and an Enterprise and Vocational Education (EVE) Coordinator.
The curriculum team also includes a Gifted and Talented District PEAC Coordinator
and Home Schooling Moderators.
These officers provide advice and support
to individual schools and teachers in relation to pedagogy and across district
support through an extensive professional development program that focuses
on helping teachers develop outcomes focused knowledge, skills and understandings.

The Role of the Team
The Role of the Curriculum Improvement Program (CIP) Team is to:
- Provide leadership and high quality support to schools in implementing
CIP2;
- Assist schools in implementing initiatives that support the CIP, including:
- Provide a multidisciplinary approach in
collaboration with Student Services and Aboriginal Education to meet the
needs of schools.
