ANZAC STUDENT TOUR 2006
The 2006 ANZAC tour is an opportunity for 12 outstanding young ambassadors of the government school system to represent Western Australia at the Anzac Cove service (or at other European ANZAC Day ceremonies if the Gallipoli venue is deemed to be unsuitable at that time).
The speech topic for this year's selection process is "Examine and discuss the role Western Australians played in the formation and development of the ANZAC Legend since 1915."
As outlined in previous emails and communications, schools wishing to nominate students are required to complete the school selection process and email the names of the winning students, in each category, to Kerry Wright by Wednesday 21 September (Week 10). The Student Entry and Declaration Form for each of the winning students will also need to be forwarded to District Office before 23 September. Winning students from each secondary school will be required to participate in a District Final to be held in Week 2 Term 4 at District Office. Can you please contact Kerry Wright on 9311 0514 if you require any further information.
