FAREWELL TO NOLA CHROMIAK

Nola Chomiak, District Curriculum Consultant is on the  move. Nola has asked that her sincere thanks and best wishes be passed onto all schools in the  Canning District.  Nola, we wish you well for the  future.

MORE SCHOOL MATTERS RECOGNITION FOR CANNING SCHOOLS

On page 13 of the  School Matters a photo of a student working with a "Intellikeys" keyboard is featured. The caption does not name the  student but we have been informed that  he is Daniel Kirk from Canning Vale PS ESC and he is working with his teacher Justin Mortley.

On page 14 Professor Art Costa is pictured with students from Grovelands PS.  Professor Costa was at Grovelands PS as they are putting into whole-school practice the  Habits of Mind, which was developed by the  professor.

 BE ALERT TAKE 2!

In an earlier edition of the  Exec Email we advised schools to be on the  lookout for letters/emails concerned with a student named  John Cragg. It appears that schools are now being asked to provide 'With Compliments' slips for this student.  Please be advised that this a hoax and John Cragg is not a student at Beehive Montessori School. Please exercise due care.

 Signed
