STAFF MEMBERS WORKING 12 - 16 DECEMBER 2005
Attached to the Exec Email is a proforma requesting confirmation of those staff that have not traded off all or part of their 5 days and are required to report for work during the week 12 - 16 December. We understand that this information has been submitted previously but as circumstances may have changed, and to ensure planning at the District Office is in place, we are asking that you resubmit the form. If no staff are required to report for work during this week there is no need to respond or submit a nil return. Please return the proforma to your respective Manager Operations by COB Tuesday 29 November.
HUNTINGDALE PS STAFF NOMINATED FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD
Huntingdale PS School Officer Christine McKivett and Registrar Jill Kershaw have been nominated for the Customer Service Council's Service Excellence Awards are now Finalists in the Wendy Middleton Award for Individual Service Excellence.
The Award ceremony takes place on Friday 2 December at the Langley. Good luck Christine and Jill.
SUBSCRIPTION TO MACQUARIENET ONLINE
The Department has purchased a state-wide licence for MacquarieNet for three years commencing September 2005 for all students in Years 4 -10 and their teachers. MacquarieNet comprises mainly Australian content and includes encyclopaedias, books, images, dictionaries, feature articles and an archive of news articles from Australian sources. MacquarieNet can be used to enhance teaching and learning in a number of learning areas and supports productive, safe use of the Internet. The content is designed for Australian school students and is reliable, up to date, and free of inappropriate content. Searching MacquarieNet is easy and the results are well categorised. It can be accessed by going direct to the MacquarieNet address at: www.macquarienet.com.au/login . The information pack, sent to schools late last term, will assist staff in using this resource.

INDIGENOUS TUTORIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME (ITAS) IN-SCHOOL TUITION PROGRAM 2006
The 2006 ITAS In-School Tuition Program information was sent out to all schools via Ed-e-Mail on Friday 18 November 2005. PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL SCHOOL PSYCHOLGIST TIME
Schools wishing to purchase additional school psychologist time for 2006 are reminded that they need to submit formal applications by COB on Friday 2 December 2005.

PRINCIPALS END OF YEAR FUNCTION
One final reminder that Monday 28 November is the Principals End of Year Function and will take place in Seminar Room 3 at Technology Park, Brodie Hall Drive Bentley, commencing at 2.30pm. Cocktail food and soft drinks will be supplied and a cash bar will be in operation.
