Students form Kensington PS recently took part in the Future Problem Solving (FPS) finals and were short listed to attend the National finals in Sydney and ended up coming third overall. This is a noteworthy achievement, given that this is the first time the school has had any involvement in this program. Special mention must be made of the excellent coaching of the students by John Bailey and Carl Sanderson. Well done!
EDUCATION SUPPORT PLACEMENTS, YEAR 8 2006
There has been a delay in the Education Support Eligibility Committee being able to provide feedback regarding eligibility and placement for students currently in Year 7 who are seeking an Education Support placement in 2006 as a Year 8 student. This delay has been due to the transition to Schools Plus and late applications from schools for students currently in Year 7. However it is hoped to finalize this in the next week or so. Relevant letters regarding placements will then follow.
