ALBY HUTS - FEEDBACK

Thank you to all those Administrators who took the time to send in feedback about the Certified Agreement to pass onto Alby Huts, Executive Director Human Resources. Your comments and suggestions have been formulated and passed onto Alby's office.

VENUES REQUIRED FOR THE GIFTED AND TALENTED EDUCATION PROGRAM TESTING, 3 - 13 MAY

Each year the district is asked to organize the testing for all Year 7 students (within our district) who apply for The Gifted and Talented Education Program in either the Academic Talent Program (ATP) and/or Languages Other Than English (LOTE) program. (This program was previously known as the Special Secondary Placement Program, SSPP.) As in the past, we are planning to run the testing sessions each morning of Week 3, Term 2.
Venues are required;

- which can seat around 50 students comfortably at desks,
- which are available for a minimum of 3 1/2 hours for the testing, with additional time to set up beforehand and pack-up afterwards,
- during Week 3, Term 2 (9 - 13 May inclusive).

If you have any questions, require additional information or your school has a room available which could be used for the testing, please let Elizabeth Moran know via email: Elizabeth.Moran@det.wa.edu.au or Phone: 9311 0536. Elizabeth will then contact these schools to discuss the details.

AUSSIE OPTIMISM PROGRAM

CRITICAL INCIDENTS - ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION

A gentle reminder that when logging critical incidents you should initially go to www.eddept.wa.edu.au/CriticalIncident then go to 'Add an Incident Report'.
In the field titled 'District Email' please ensure that you enter the following address, canningcriticalincidents@det.wa.edu.au . Press 'Submit', the Critical Incident form will then go directly to Central Office and a copy will automatically be sent to the Canning DO.
Many thanks for your assistance in this matter.
