The Secondary Special Project Award has been won by the Golf Como Secondary College
The establishment of the Como Golf Academy in 1998 under the leadership of Ros Fisher has led to a world class secondary curriculum in general studies and golf.
Through clever partnerships with Royal Perth Golf Club, Collier Park Golf Course, excellence in all aspects of golf including areas such as physiotherapy and psychology, superb leadership and abundant goodwill, Ros's work has resulted in the Como Secondary College winning the Australian Champion Golf School, producing a World Junior Golf Champion and many students gaining access to the Australian Institute of Sport.
