This award has been won by the Improving TEE results Program at Kelmscott Senior High School
In 1995 Kelmscott SHS was listed on the front page of the West Australian newspaper as an under performing school. As a result the school put in place a long term plan to improve TEE results.
Over the past three years the impact of these strategies has seen an improvement in graduation rates from 87% to 97%. In 2003 the school was named by the Australian Newspaper as one of the three most improved schools in Australia and in 2004 the school was named on the front page of the West Australian as one of the top performing schools in Western Australia.
