The winner of this award is the Early Childhood Program at Gwynne Park Primary School
As the getting it right Literacy Coordinator Sue Newland has taken on the responsibility of overseeing the early childhood phase of development, from kindergarten to year 3, within the school. Sue's demonstrated outstanding teaching and learning strategies are the foundation upon which this phase of learning operates.
Under Sue's leadership the Gwynne Park Primary School has developed outstanding transition programs for students entering the school at Kindy, Pre primary or Year 1. Students are given opportunities to experience a vast array of learning strategies aimed at enabling them to reach their potential both academically and socially.
