This award acknowledges the efforts of the Principal and the staff to market the school by providing excellent customer service to potential year 8 students and their parents through involvement in the Forrestfield Senior High School Transition program.
Forrestfield SHS has actively supported their customers by developing strong partnerships with the feeder primary schools. The provision of sporting programs, science projects, Junior "Its Academic" programs and painting murals in local primary schools have strengthened these partnerships.
The results of these programs and the active marketing strategies of the school are reflected in the 30% increase in Year 8 enrolment numbers for 2006. This Year 8 cohort represents students from 29 different feeder schools in contrast to the 6 feeder schools represented in the 2005 Year 8 cohort.
