The winner of the primary school learning environment award is the ICT program at East Victoria Park Primary School.
The program is coordinated by Mrs Chris Ritchie. Chris has developed and managed, in consultation and collaboration with all staff, a 5 year strategic plan for ICT at the school.
Chris has single handedly reconfigured the ICT infrastructure to meet the needs of the staff and students, conducted regular planning sessions with all teachers to ensure that ICT learning outcomes link directly to curriculum outcomes in the classroom program, provided appropriate professional development for staff to improve their ICT skills and conducted regular computer classes for parents.
