What you cannot do with the materials

The authorised user may only use MacquarieNet for research, teaching and private study purposes. The authorised user must not:

  • sell, distribute, loan, rent, transfer, sub-licence or otherwise exploit MacquarieNet;
  • use MacquarieNet for any third party’s benefit by way of a service bureau or otherwise.

Commercial use of the materials, or use outside of the immediate classroom, is prohibited. Examples include:

  • Publication of MacquarieNet content on a school’s public website;
  • Publication of MacquarieNet content in a school newsletter;
  • Use of MacquarieNet content in an enterprise product for sale or distribution;
  • Student or teacher products, containing MacquarieNet content, entered for a competition;
  • Student products, containing MacquarieNet content, submitted as a portfolio for work experience or a job application.

Note that MacquarieNet may be used as a reference source in the process of creating products such as those listed above.
