The District Library Support Network provides support for library staff and teachers in schools.
Schools needing assistance, particularly those with new Resource Teachers and Library Officers, may contact their District Library Support Officer at any time during the year.
Where a Support Officer is not identified, contact the District Office for help.
District Library Support Officer's Role
DLSOs may assist schools in the following key areas: - support to newly appointed Resource Teachers
- training for newly appointed Library Officers
- ongoing support for other personnel working in primary and district high school libraries.
