Average price information is collated from
the cost of items evaluated by CMIS in the previous twelve months.
These prices should be used as a guide only as they depend on
the type and number of resources evaluated which may vary from
year to year.
These amounts are based on the average prices
of resources listed in Primary Focus Fiction and Nonfiction
publications which are published in January each year. Non-book
resources include videos, audiocassettes, charts, games and
realia. Computer software has been treated separately.
The secondary fiction amounts are based on
the average prices of items listed in the three issues of Fiction
Focus produced in the previous year.
The secondary nonfiction amounts are based on the average prices
of secondary resources evaluated for Resource Focus publications
and any other secondary resources reviewed in the previous year.
It is recognised that this does not represent a spread across
all Learning Areas, but it does provide a guide and a comparison
to previous years. Computer software is not included.
