| Macquarie dictionary defines ‘safari’ as: a journey; an expedition, especially for hunting and a holiday tour which may entail some camping out and a degree of adventurousness. According to most sources, the word came into the English language from Arabic and Swahili sources, thus the strong connection to hunting in Africa. |
