Drahos Zak
Internationally acclaimed illustrator, Drahos Zak was born in the Czech Republic but has lived in Australia since 1980. His illustrations are often darkly humorous and evoke his European upbringing.

Markus Zusak
Marcus Zusak's debut novel, The Underdog was published in 1999, when Marcus was in his early twenties. In a short time he has developed a reputation as one of Australia's most talented and innovative writers for young adults. His work has won acclaim and awards both in Australia and overseas.
