Deborah & Kilmeny Niland - Australian Illustrators

Deborah and Kilmeny are the twin daughters of authors Ruth Park and D'Arcy Niland. Both have enjoyed long careers as artists, illustrators and authors. Kilmeny died in 2009 and her sister has completed a number of her projects and maintains her website.

Leonie Norrington was born in Darwin and spent most of her childhood on a remote Aboriginal community. She worked at a variety of jobs before studying journalism as a mature-age student. Currently, Leonie works as a journalist and feature writer. She also makes regular appearances as a presenter on the ABC television show Gardening Australia.
