Software

Computer software reviewed through CMIS supports the K-10 Syllabus and WACE Courses in Western Australian public schools.

Web 2.0 Software
  • An increasing array of open-ended applications, which no longer need to be installed on machines or networks, are available for educational use through external Internet sites. However, teachers should check terms of use and privacy protections before adopting these for student use.

This type of software is being called 'Software as a service'. Flick'r, Edublogs and delicious are some popular examples used in education.
