I 3.1
Understands that information is used, created, constructed, presented, stored and transmitted in different ways for particular audiences and users.

differenciates between similar information from various sources, e.g. information from books, Internet, newspapers, encyclopedias and compares and contrasts facts.
examines a range of web pages and other information products to identify the distinguishing features of the print style, the source of ideas, the target consumer group, the message and the values inherent in the design; assesses the impact of the design on the user and others; and decides whether these techniques are an effective way of conveying information.

selects newspapers, magazines, telephone books, atlases, encyclopedias, dictionaries and web pages for specific information.

understands that graphics have to be ion certain formats and photos in certain resolutions to obtain maximum effect.
reviews a number of websites and identifies those that are most effective for point of view of graphics, font, layout, backgrounds, download time.
