Directorate

The Evaluation and Accountability Directorate is a component of the Innovation, Performance and Research Division. The Directorate has three branches; Educational Measurement, System Performance and School Performance.

Areas of responsibility include: managing and undertaking evaluations endorsed by Corporate Executive; producing the Department’s Annual Report and Key Performance Indicators; the collection and reporting of corporate information, including the provision of data and information request services; and the provision of a policy framework, appropriate tools, research and advice in support of a comprehensive quality assurance program for government schools.

Directorate personnel also consult with State, Commonwealth and national agencies and participate in national and State forums on performance monitoring and reporting issues.
