Purpose of the Access Asia Program

The Access Asia Program promotes the Studies of Asia across the curriculum in exciting, relevant and practical ways.

We work to increase and encourage student, teacher and community understanding of the incredible diversity and remarkable contributions of Asia's people, cultures and countries to our world.

What the Access Asia Team Can do for You

The Access Asia Team provides teachers, students and communities with responsive, flexible support to foster and develop the Studies of Asia . To do this we:

Organise and run Professional Learning Opportunities
	To give input on themes and regions of Asia to enhance skills and knowledge about Asia across the curriculum.
	Which promotes networks of teachers and presenters.
	To enhance your current practice in making connections between the studies of Asia and Australia.
Provide Support in Implementation of the Studies of Asia
	By providing resource lists.
	Through newsletters and advice.
	By advising and assisting with cultural incursions.
	Through school support in curriculum change and implementation.
