District Contacts

The Goldfields District Aboriginal Education Team has four members. A Manager, Coordinator, and two Aboriginal Liaison Officers. The district has 40 schools which are clustered together to form three cells; the Town Cell schools, North Country Cell schools and Ngaanyatjarra Lands Cell. Schools are clustered based on geographical location.

Verna Vos – Manager, Aboriginal Education. A Tjupan woman, born in Leonora, with strong links and knowledge throughout the Goldfields.

Vicki Kirk – Coordinator, Aboriginal Education is a local, born in Kalgoorlie and has links throughout the Goldfields.

Michelle Forrest - Aboriginal Liaison Officer for the Town Cell schools, is a Wongatha woman, a local, born in Kalgoorlie.

Tracey Tucker - Aboriginal Liaison Officer for the North Country Cell schools, is a Yamatji woman, raised in the Goldfields.

Both Aboriginal Liaison Officers support the Ngaanyatjarra Lands schools.
