The Fremantle-Peel Education District
The Fremantle-Peel Education District is located in the South West
corner of the Metropolitan Area. It extends from:
- North Fremantle Primary school in the North, to
- Rottnest Island in the West, to Ocean Road Primary School and across to
- Waroona District High School and Dwellingup Primary School in the South, and to
- North Dandalup and Brookman Primary School in the East.
The District is serviced by staff at two offices, one in Beaconsfield and the other in Mandurah.
As of February 2005, there were 2088 Indigenous students enrolled in Kindergarten to Year 12.
The Aboriginal Education Team would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of Noongar land, of which the Fremantle-Peel District is a part.
