This website will provide teachers and students with information and images that will assist them with their development of knowledge and understandings of the local Aboriginal history, stories, and significant sites. It will also provide teachers with other portal links that will help them to include an Aboriginal perspective and Aboriginal studies in their classroom planning.
The Aboriginal Education Team would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of Noongar land, of which Esperance district is a part. We also thank the members of the Esperance / Norseman District Aboriginal Education Advisory Council, Aboriginal and Islander Education Officers and various families and Aboriginal community members for their support and advice in collecting information for this project. We welcome further contributions from our community.
