The Aboriginal Education Team is committed to improving the educational outcomes of Aboriginal students through assisting schools with the implementation culturally appropriate programs and teaching strategies as well as the development of school plans.

- Provides strategic leadership to schools to assist with the implementation of Department of Education and Training policies and strategies.
- Assists schools with the development and implementation of strategies to improve learning outcomes for Aboriginal students.
- Manages Interagency Portfolios
- Liaises and negotiates with external clients and parents.
- Develops and implements district-based programs.

District Curriculum Consultant – Aboriginal Education (AEO2): Christine Reich 9311 0555
- Works in partnership with the Coordinator to provide leadership and support in the area of Aboriginal Education.
- Provides a support role along side the Managers of Curriculum and Student services to improve outcomes in Aboriginal Education
- Assists schools with the development and implementation of strategies to improve learning outcomes for Aboriginal students in Literacy and Numeracy.

- Works in partnership with the district office teams (SS, Curr) to provide leadership in the area of Aboriginal Education.
- Assists in developing and implementing polices and programs strategically aimed at improving outcomes in Aboriginal Education
